Hallucination Runs Summer Night Series
The Hallucination Runs Summer Night Series was created to allow runners throughout Southern Nevada the opportunity to compete in races of all distances under the glittering stars of Sin City, Nevada.  With nightly themed races in June, July and August, runners are able to escape the scorching summer heat and experience the magical effects of running through the desert night. Produced by Vegas-based Beyond Limits Running, the same company that produces the well known Jackpot Ultra Running Festival and other endurance races throughout the Southwest, the Hallucination Runs Summer Night Series is designed to offer an exceptional running experience to runners of all abilities.

Every race in the series offers a 5K, 10K, half-marathon, marathon and an ultra. With races occurring at three different venues across Sin City, pick your favorite event (Twilight & Beyond, Nocturnal Sins and/or Beyond Black & Back) and come experience the joys of night running.  Better yet, run at least two of the three races and
you will receive a special edition Beyond Hallucinations pub glass to enjoy your favorite nightly beverage. For the real crazy insomniac runners who run all three races, earn a FREE entry into our 1st Annual Beyond Spooked Halloween race on October 29, 2016 at Cornerstone Park.

Like all Beyond Limits Running events, the Hallucination Runs Summer Night Series will provide an over-the-top running experience at an exceptional value.  From colorful finisher medals for every runner, along with race specific bling, entertainment and post race parties, each Hallucination Runs event will offer a professional race experience with a heavy dose of fun!  So grab your glow in the dark paint and get ready for nocturnally sinful adventures in running this summer.

Twilight & Beyond Race
Twilight & Beyond is the first of three races in the Hallucination Runs Summer Night Series, offering the following races: 5K, 10K, half-marathon, marathon and 50K. Starting from the Arroyo Grande Sports Complex, the Twilight & Beyond races run along the Pittman Wash asphalt trail system on a 4.35 mile course. All races start from the Twilight & Beyond decorated bridge (complete with over 2,000 sparkling lights), head up the trail to designated turn-arounds (depending on race distance), and finish by looping through the park and passing through the Twilight & Beyond sparkling finisher's chute.  With the total out & back course measuring 8.7 miles, the longer distance races will run the course multiple times.

The Pittman Wash Trail winds through a scenic stretch of developed and natural area that carries floodwater from the mountains south of Henderson, to the Las Vegas Wash, and ultimately into Lake Mead.  As described by Outside Las Vegas, the main trail corridor is landscaped with a mixture of grass, trees and desert landscaping, while the wash itself has mostly native shrubs and trees.  With the Twilight & Beyond course fully lit with low level sensor lights, runners will have the opportunity to observe the vast array of creatures doing their thing at night.  Runners will also have an opportunity to run past the City of Henderson's Project GREEN (Green Valley Ecology, Environment, and Nature) habitat restoration program. This underdeveloped and unprotected natural area is pure paradise for many different types of desert animals.

Every runner will receive a colorful finisher's medal, a Hallucination Runs logo-ed safety light, a Hallucination Runs logo-ed reflective wrist band and be invited to participate in a finish line party with food, drinks and entertainment.
