    Who Pushed Beyond

Jackpot Ultra Running Festival
February 18 - 21, 2022 in You Know Where, NV

Bet Big, Run Long. Produced by Beyond Limits Running, the 9th Annual Jackpot Ultra Running Festival takes place on Presidents' Weekend 2022 (February 18-21) at one of Southern Nevada's newest and largest amenity-filled parks. The Festival features the USATF 100 Mile Road National Championship, along with 6/12/24/48/72 hour races, a standard 100 mile race and a 50 mile race. Jackpot has become arguably the most inclusive, diversified and welcoming short loop ultra in the country with runners of all abilities competing together. From world record holders to newbie runners, seasoned veterans, blind runners and adaptive athletes, Jackpot offers the perfect venue, environment and overall vibe for runners to push beyond limits and hit their own personal Jackpot.

Located minutes from the Las Vegas strip and just 10 miles from Las Vegas Airport, the 100 acre Cornerstone Park is nestled among desert landscape and is anchored by a 31 acre bird sanctuary lake. The lake is surrounded by a massive grass area, entertainment plaza, individual picnic pavilions with lake views, walking/running trails, volleyball and basketball courts, restrooms, BBQ's and over 600 parking spots. Importantly, let's not forget all the wildlife runners get to enjoy as they race around the course. The regular certified Jackpot course consists of a 2.5 mile horseshoe loop with 60 feet of gentle elevation ascend/descend per loop. Visit to view a video of the course. At an elevation of 1,900 feet and average mid-February high/low temperature of 61/45, the Jackpot course is extremely fast. Running on a course that is 45% groomed crushed gravel trails, 45% wide asphalt paths, 5% grass and just 5% bridge and concrete surfaces, the course is well suited for veteran runners wanting to PR, and with a 32 hour time limit, it is perfect for first time ultra runners. The RFID chip timed race starts at the entertainment plaza and makes a horseshoe type loop around the lake with lots of social runner interactions. Runners will be treated to two small picturesque bridge crossings every loop. As illustrated in past results, the Jackpot course has become one of the fastest looped courses in the Southwest.

As with other Beyond Limits Running races, the aid station will be heavily stocked to take care of runners' nutritional needs and will serve a variety of hot meals throughout the entire event. Awards and runner bling will be very memorable. All runners will receive a unique finisher's medal, with 100 mile finishers earning a large buckle. Unlike most ultras, we create a brand new casino/gambling themed buckle and medal every year. Not everything stays in Vegas and every runner will be leaving with memorable bling, including one of our signature Bet Big Run Long sublimated tech shirts. As demonstrated during the last eight Jackpot Ultra Running Festivals, the race directors go all out when it comes to designing unique awards. First through third place male and female finishers in each race will earn trophy case quality awards.

To create a full-blown festival environment, a live band will perform throughout the day at the start/finish line aid station, and of course Elvis and the Fabulous Las Vegas Showgirls will make another appearance. Stay motivated and running strong as you listen to live music during the day and watch movies all night long on our 120 inch outdoor movie screen. If you haven't figured out already, this is a great vacation getaway ultra. With cheap Vegas flights and 5 affordably priced hotels located 1-3 miles from the race venue, invite family and friends and take full advantage of the 3-day Presidents' Weekend. Enjoy one of Sin City's awarding winning restaurants and catch a show on the strip as you celebrate and recover in style.

2022 USATF 100 Mile Road National Championship Course (39-Hour Time Limit)

For the 5th consecutive year, we are honored to announce the Jackpot Ultra Running Festival will once again host the official USATF 100 Mile Road National Championship race with an even bigger $12,000 prize pool. As shown by some wickedly fast times over the last couple years, the 1.1761616 mile USATF 100 mile certified course is extremely fast. The course is VERY, VERY different than the normal 2.5 mile Jackpot course as it consists of 95% paved or concrete surfaces and 5% crushed gravel. The course is designed to allow elite USATF participants, along with those USATF members seeking 100 mile age group records and other runners looking to set PR's, to compete on a very fast course. Anyone can enter this race as long as they are a member of the USATF (memberships can be purchased from the USATF's website at a cost of $40 per year). To avoid congestion on the course and make the USATF division as fast as possible, the race starts on Friday morning with the 72-hour runners. With a Friday start, there is substantially less "public traffic" on the course and 300 less runners. The USATF 100 Mile race has a new 39 hour time limit.

$12,000 USATF Championship Prize Pool and Master Age Group Record Awards

Although we are just a small ultra company producing just a couple races each year, we want to do our part to help recognize the amazing open field ultra elite athletes, as well as elite master division runners who set American age group records. In our opinion, elite ultra runners are even more special than the top NBA and NFL players. To this end, we are increasing our open field prize pool from $10,000 to $12,000. The first place man and first place woman in the USATF 100 mile race will receive $2,500 each, while the second place man and woman in the USATF 100 mile race will receive $1,000 each. The third place man and woman in the USATF 100 mile race will receive $500 each. If a new 100 mile American road record is set in the USATF 100 Mile Race, the winning male and/or female winner will receive an additional $1,500 each.

New for 2022. If an elite master ultra runner (those runners 50 years or older) sets an American age group record, they will be awarded complimentary registration to Jackpot 2023 and receive an 8x10 framed picture with an engraved plaque commemorating their American record setting achievement. It's motivating as heck to see veteran runners still pushing beyond limits at all ages and we want to do our part to recognize these seasoned and legendary runners!
